How to activate Union pay debit cards
Via Mobile, Internet & WhatsApp banking
- Download the DIB Mobile App from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
- Log in to DIB Internet Banking.
- Navigate to the Card Activation/Deactivation option.
- Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) for security verification
Activate Your Debit Card via WhatsApp
- Simply scan the QR code from the website and message "Hi" to Dubai Islamic Bank’s WhatsApp number.
- You will receive an automated response with banking service options.
- Choose the " Debit Card Services" option from the menu.
- Select "Activate Debit Card" from the available options.
- Provide the last four digits of your debit card number when prompted.
- Confirm your registered mobile number for verification.
- You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP in the chat to proceed.
- Once the OTP is verified, you will receive a confirmation message stating that your debit card has been successfully activated.
- Your card is now ready to use for transactions, ATM withdrawals, and online purchases.
